The 1945 Croydon Mail Football League season was the 16th season of the Australian rules football competition and first after World War II. The Premiership was won by the Bayswater Football Club, after it defeated Croydon in the Grand Final by 28 points. It was Bayswater's first premiership.
Some newspapers suggest the competition was named the Croydon District Football League, whilst others said it was named Croydon Mail Football League (named after the local newspaper).
With World War II still going on, only 4 clubs participated. Those clubs are Bayswater, Boronia, Croydon & Kilsyth. |
