The 1948 Croydon Mail Football League season was the 19th season of the Australian rules football competition. The Premiership was won by the Croydon Football Club, after it defeated Lilydale in the Grand Final by 17 points. It was Croydon's third Premiership, and fourth club as a senior club. (They won the 1926 Premiership in the Yarra Valley Football Association).
All clubs from 1947 return for the 1948 season, except Montrose. Montrose go into recess untill the 1964 season, where they field a reserves team in division 2 of the Eastern Districts Football League. |
